This blower is typically driven by a motor mounted outside the heater, with the motor extending through an opening in the heater body and through a motor access opening in the heater body.
It is known to mount a heater to a support, such as a housing, and for this type of mounting, it is advantageous to provide means to properly align the heater body within the support, or to attach the heater to the support in a manner to ensure that the heater is correctly aligned with the support, when the heater is in a working position. It is also advantageous to provide means to be able to detachably connect a cover over the heater body, for when the heater is not in use.
For the purposes of this patent application, the term heater or heater body is used to include all types of heaters, and the term housing is used to include enclosures, housings and supports for gas burners, or housing bodies for appliances, such as heaters, where the housing or housing body may be a cast or fabricated body made of a material suitable for a particular application, such as a metal, ceramic or plastic, and for the purposes of this application, the term burner body is used to include all types of such bodies, including burner bodies for use in gas burners.
